The fourteenth chapter of John's Gospel is one often read at funerals, as it gives us a glimpse into what life with God in heaven looks like. But if we read further into the chapter, we discover that Jesus says we don't have to wait until death to be united with God. Instead, the Spirit of God is already within us! The question we must ask ourselves is, how might we best follow God's Spirit with our words and actions, so as to be about the life-changing work of Christ?
