We consider it an honor to serve you before, during and after the loss of a loved one. If death is imminent, please contact our pastor, who will make every effort to come and pray with you.
Everyone deserves a unique and personal funeral or memorial service upon death. At Community, we are privileged to work with the family and friends of loved ones to craft a service that will honor your loved one’s memory. Volunteers from the congregation are glad to provide a luncheon or refreshments following the service, should that be your desire.
Community United Methodist Church would be honored to be named a recipient of donations made in memory of your loved one. These donations are added to our Memorial Gifts fund. Monies are approved for use by the Memorial Gifts Team upon the request of individuals or teams who have demonstrated appropriate need of funds to improve, enhance or grow a particular ministry. When a memorial gift exceeding $500 is given, the name of your loved one is added to a plaque hanging from the rear wall of the Sanctuary as a lasting reminder of their commitment to the church and service to God.
