Slavery did not stop with the transatlantic slave trade.  Tragically, human trafficking (modern-day slavery) is rampant in our world today and even exists in our local communities.  Children are often the victims of this horrible reality that needs to stop.  As Christians, we are called to educate ourselves about the evils of this world and stand up to injustice when and where we see it.  Together, we can bear the love of Christ.

    Series Information

The beginning of 2018 brings with it a number of different thoughts and emotions.  Are you someone who approaches every new year eager to set goals and work to achieve them?  Are you the person determined to begin 2018 with a clean slate?  Are you the type sto squelch any notion of "new and different," internally justifying your approach as "same life, different date?"  Whatever your approach, the first sermon series of 2018, New Year, New Beginnings, is for you.  Join us for worship as we consider how the Bible speaks to new beginnings in faith and in life.
