Community Food Drive

Have you/your household been personally affected by the government shutdown? Do you know someone who has? Would you like to help those who have?

Community is hosting a temporary food drive and food shelf to benefit those who have been financially affected by the government shutdown and we could use your help! If you would like to donate non-perishable food items, general household supplies and/or personal items, please bring them to the church between the hours of 6:00 AM and 12:00 PM, Monday through Friday this week, with the exception of Wednesday, January 30, when the church office will be closed for weather-related reasons. Donations can also be dropped of at the Monticello City Hall during normal business hours.

Items you may want to consider donating can include: canned goods, pastas, chips, cereal, juices, juices, deodorant, toilet paper, shampoo, sandwich baggies, napkins, cleaning products, toothpaste, and so much more!

 

* Any remaining items will be donated to the Monticello Help Center.
