Today we take a closer look at our theology of the cross as we study Jesus' command to "take up your cross and follow me." Unfortunately, phrases like this have been used to support and propagate a toxic theology of oppression. Join us as we consider a more healthy understanding of the phrase that, when truly lived, yields a living response to Jesus' question, "Who do you say that I am?"

Having finished our study of the Hebrew Scriptures, we now turn our attention to the New Testament Gospels. Through the incarnation of Jesus Christ, humanity is given the opportunity to see and hear the heart of God.
