It Takes a Village

Aug 23, 2020 | Rev. Carrie Binnie

Not Just on Sundays (9 AM)

We could all use a bit of guidance around how to best support and connect with the young people in our lives on a spiritual level. Now more than ever, we can't just rely on the church to teach them everything they need to know about faith. If we want our children to have the spiritual foundation they need to sustain them, we need to do something about it. Join us as we consider some very practical ways we might strengthen the faith of the next generation, and in the process, deepen ours as well.

We’ve all heard the saying, “It takes a village to raise a child,” and it’s true! None of us can get through life alone, let alone raise children alone. We need the support of the church and other influential adults to help disciple and raise young people who love and follow Jesus. Let’s examine some of the stories and instruction found in Scripture about what to do, what not to do and how to trust God—not only with our own lives, but with the lives of our children too.
