It has been said that the Church experiences an awakening of sorts every 500 years. That time is now. But just as the Pharisees struggled with the notion of abandoning some of their traditions, it can be challenging for us to move away from some of the practices and traditions we have held dear for the sake of evolving the church to better reach new people and meet the needs of those already connected. And while many things will certainly be maintained, the time is now upon us to live into God's preferred future.
