Changing Minds (9 AM)

Just as God gave Moses the vision of a free Hebrew people, God inspires dreams, calls people to ministries and plants seeds of hope. Along the journey of life, we are given the manna we need to keep going, but do we recognize God's provisions in our midst?  God has called Community United Methodist Church to be the church who says YES to loving and serving our community in body and spirit. Today we will hear from Zaituna, a recipient of the church's generosity, and be reminded of why God has called us to live into this  new vision.

    Series Information

Darkness: the space ridden with tension, uncertainty and that which is unknown. The earliest Bible stories tell us that God's people have known darkness from the beginning. Each of us has gone through difficult times and none of us has all the answers. But let us not forget that God lives in the light and dwells in the dark. God even created the separation of light from darkness. What if truth and purpose can be found in the dark? Join us as we seek out the hope that always accompanies darkness in the story of God.
