A Place at the Table (11 AM)

    Food is a common bond between all people.  It’s often easier to have a conversation with someone around a table with food.  Jesus did much of his ministry around the table.  There, he listened, developed relationships, and offered and/or received hospitality.  What would it be like if you shared a meal or a cup of coffee with three people every week who weren’t a part of your faith community or family?  Maybe, just maybe the world would be a better place…

Perhaps rediscovering with intentional regularity, the practices of blessing, eating, listening, learning and serving will change all of that...
