The Story: The Green Belt of Peace - A true African story about caring for the Earth. This story is about Wangari Maathai, who was the first African woman to receive the Nobel Peace Prize, the first female scholar from East and Central Africa to earn a doctorate, and the first female professor ever in Kenya.
Main Point: We are capable of small actions to create greater peace for ourselves and others.
