Community UMC will once again have a float in the Riverfest parade! The parade begins at noon on Sunday, July 14. Please consider riding on or walking alongside our float. The more people participate, the stronger our presence in the parade. The stronger our presence in the parade, the greater the impact!
Parade Handouts: We will have candy and fliers to hand out during the parade--3,000 fliers advertising our VBS and the upcoming community-wide Party in the Park on Aug. 1!
Hydration and Nourishment During the Parade: There will be two coolers filled with ice and bottles of water for you to take when you need them. There will also be snack-y things for those who need a bit of refueling as we go (applesauce pouches, granola bars and fruit snacks).
What to wear? Please wear your CUMC t-shirt if you have one! And don't forget sunscreen!
Weather: If the weather is questionable, check CUMC's facebook page for any cancellation notices.
Timeframe: Please plan to join us for the ecumenical worship service in Ellison Park at 9am and link up with the float by 11:30am. The parade lineup begins at the American legion (3rd st. and Elm). We are the ___ float in line, so please follow the numbers and floats to find us in the lineup.
